Not Your Typical College Fair is a dynamic, inclusive event designed to meet learners where they are in their educational journey. Unlike traditional college fairs, this experience features three targeted breakout sessions tailored specifically for high school students, adult learners, and current college students, ensuring relevant information, resources, and support for every participant.

Attendees will connect directly with college representatives, explore wraparound support services, and engage with wellness resources that promote academic success and personal well-being. This event reimagines the college fair experience by creating a supportive, community-centered space focused on opportunity, access, and holistic student success.

High School Students

Breakout sessions will provide high school students with a clear roadmap for success, outlining what to prepare for at each stage of their high school journey, starting as early as middle school. Participants will leave with a stronger understanding of the steps needed to reach their goals.

College Students

Breakout sessions will provide college students with resources they need to know about no matter what college campus or program they are enrolled in post high school completion. From counseling, to financial aid, to student services, this overview will provide them a one-stop all access pass on how to maximize their time on campus and what to demand from their institutions to help support them.

Adult Learners

Breakout sessions will provide adult learners with resources and organizations that connect them directly to post-secondary enrollment options. From skilled trades to obtaining your GED, to exploring careers and other pathways, this session will leave participants with the opportunity to connect and take their next steps to the next level.
